What we believe

“Talent is universal, but opportunity is not.”

To create opportunities that enable every individual to take a fearless and confident flight toward their dreams.

Who we are

What we do

Six programmes, one aim: opportunity where there was none

From rural classrooms to emergency rescue operations, we work at the grassroots so that education, safety and empowerment reach the people who need them most.

Anju Verma, Founder and CEO of Buland Udaan

Our founder

Sometimes the strongest missions are born from the deepest pain.

Anju Verma was in 5th grade when a month at a relative’s house changed her life. She was made to work like a servant, and endured far more than the labour. What makes her story powerful is not the pain — it is what she chose to do with it.

At just ten years old, she decided that no child and no woman should ever feel the fear she felt. That decision became Buland Udaan.

Buland Udaan is doing remarkable work in shaping young leaders with vision and confidence. I stay connected with the students of the Genius Mentorship Program from time to time, and their growth truly inspires me.
